The mission of the Alliance for the Great Lakes is to conserve and restore the world's largest freshwater resource using policy, education and local efforts, ensuring a healthy Great Lakes and clean water for generations of people and wildlife. Their programs focus on: Water Quality, Water Conservation, Habitat Recovery, Land Use, Clean Energy and Education & Outreach.
Greenopolis
Greenopolis goal is to provide information and tools to: Help to recycle easily, help to save natural resources for future generations, track conservation through recycling and reward conservation. Through both the digital site of Greenopolis and the physical presence of GreenOps Tracking Stations, customers to do actual, “trackable” good for the planet. Greenopolis also tries to make everyday life better for users by offering rewards for changing the way natural resource and recyclables are handled.
Junior Achievement
JA Worldwide is the world’s largest organization dedicated to educating students about workforce readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Junior Achievement programs help prepare young people for the real world by showing them how to generate wealth and effectively manage it, how to create jobs which make their communities more robust, and how to apply entrepreneurial thinking to the workplace. Students put these lessons into action and learn the value of contributing to their communities.
Keep America Beautiful
Keep America Beautiful, Inc. is the nation's largest volunteer-based community action and education organization. With a network of nearly 1,000 affiliate and participating organizations, KAB forms public-private partnerships and programs that engage individuals to take greater responsibility for improving their community's environment.

Keep Chicago Beautiful believes in keeping Chicagoland clean and beautiful. The group works to promote optimal solid waste management practices, recycling, composting, reuse, litter prevention, neighborhood cleanup, and solution-finding efforts with educators, students, and the community.

The Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics is an educational, nonprofit organization dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of the outdoors by all people, worldwide. More than 21,000 trainers spread its educational message and the organization is active in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand and Ireland.
Living Lands & Waters
Living Lands & Waters is an environmental organization established in 1998. Programs that Living Lands & Waters conduct are: Community River Cleanups, Big River Educational Workshops, MillionTrees Project, Riverbottom Forest Restoration and Adopt-a-River Mile. Living Lands & Waters mission is to aid in the protection, preservation and restoration of the natural environment of the nation's major rivers and their watersheds.

Ocean Conservancy promotes healthy and diverse ocean ecosystems and opposes practices that threaten ocean life and human life. Through research, education, and science-based advocacy, Ocean Conservancy informs, inspires, and empowers people to speak and act on behalf of the oceans. In all its work, Ocean Conservancy strives to be the world's foremost advocate for the oceans.
The United Way
United Way is a national network of nearly 1,300 local organizations that work to advance the common good by focusing on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. Their goal is to create long-lasting changes by addressing the underlying causes of problems. United Way brings together people from all across the community–government, business, faith groups, nonprofits, the labor movement, ordinary citizens–to tackle the issues. Because we all win when a child succeeds in school, when a family becomes financially stable, when people have good health.
