Hi-Cone packaging succeeds in helping companies improve Sustainability Scorecards at Walmart’s largest ever Sustainable Packaging Exposition.

The 5th Annual Walmart Sustainable Packaging Expo was part of Walmart’s continuing drive to­ward sustainability through product innovation in its supply chain. Hi-Cone products, long a sustainable choice in multi-packing, makes substantial score improvements on Walmart’s Packaging Scorecard when products are packaged in ring carriers as opposed to other multipackaging methods.

San Miguel introduces sleek cans multipack with Hi-Cone system

San Miguel has launched its summer campaign with the new flavors of apple and lemon beer in Hi-Cone carrier. In order to create differentiation and expand its appeal to target consumers they have introduced the new Sleek can with the Hi-Cone Multipack (6-pack) specifically designed for this can. Consumers may now find the elegant, new multipacks of these new flavors in their local markets.

The unveiling of "The Essence of Things - Design and the Art of Reduction", an exhibit opened in March, was marked by the publication of a fanstatic catalog. "Omission as a paradoxical intervention" is the title of the chapter in which our Multipack Carrier plays a main role. It represents the concept of "less is better".

at the Vitra Design Museum

The Essence of Things - Design and the Art of Reduction

From 20 March to 19 September 2010, the Vitra Design Museum in Weil am Rhein is showing an exhibition under the title "The Essence of Things - Design and the Art of Reduction". With over 150 objects and background stories, the exhibition in the internationally renowned museum building designed by US star architect Frank O. Gehry bears testimony to the success of an approach to design summed up in the 1960s by Prof. Dieter Rams ("Mr. Braun") in the words "less but better".
